About Milano Unica
Milano Unica, the international textile fair held twice a year in the setting of Rho fairground, conjures up once again the latest trends in textile and innovative fabrics born from a mix of experience, fine quality and tradition. Now on its 30th edition, the February 2020 fair introduces the latest trends in fabrics for the Spring/Summer 2021 season, displaying top-quality products from both Italian and European textile manufacturers. Featuring the participation of over 6,000 factories and manufactures, Milano Unica reconfirms itself as one of the worldwide leading fairs in textile and fashion, also thanks to important innovations such as the MU Sustainable Innovation project, analysing the relationship between style and sustainability.
The areas
Spread over different pavilions, the fair is divided into various sections wich include: Ideabiella, Shirt Avenue (with MU Sintesi), Moda In Accessories (divided into Special Area: Origin Passion and Beliefs, MU Sustainable Innovation, MU Tendenze, MU Sintesi, MU Info & Style, MU Trade Press and Filo), as well as Moda In Fabrics (enhanced by the themed areas of Silky/Print, Lace & Embroidery, Knit, the Special Area: Japan Observatory, MU Sintesi, MU Vintage, MU Designers, MU Cinema and Politecnico di Milano)
